Jennifer Poe
Jennifer joined UCCS professionally in 2018 serving as a project manager for NSF-sponsored research including ADVANCE Project CREST which focused on improving faculty experiences across campus in their journey to full professor. In Fall of 2023, she took on the additional role of Faculty Records in the Provost's Office helping manage sabbatical approvals as well as Reappointment, Promotion, and Tenure processes through the Board of Regent level. Jennifer is deeply invested in helping our amazing UCCS faculty succeed in their careers with UCCS.
Prior to joining UCCS, Jennifer earned her MA in Psychological Science from UCCS (hello to my friends on the 4th floor of Columbine!) and she spent six years teaching psychology as an adjunct instructor at Pikes Peak State College and at UCCS. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Research, Leadership, and Foundation in Education here on campus. In all of her spare time, Jennifer is mildly obsessed with mycology and serves as the Vice President of the Pikes Peak Mycological Society. This hobby comes with many bonus activities she enjoys such as hiking, cooking, camping, and road trips.
