New Faculty Orientation

Greetings, New Faculty!

We are delighted that you are joining our university and look forward to welcoming you into our amazing faculty community. The Office of Faculty Affairs is here to support you throughout your career, from recruitment to retirement, with work grounded in an ethos of care and a commitment to fostering the conditions that help faculty thrive.

Our activities are guided by CARE: Connection, Advocacy, Recognition, and Evolution. These values shape our efforts to build community, strengthen workplace culture, improve policies and practices, and support meaningful faculty development. Our academic mission depends on the creativity, enthusiasm, and diligence faculty bring to teaching, research, and service. Faculty create spaces for students to be challenged, advance critical inquiry and discovery, and contribute to radical hope and the public good.

We look forward to working with you, supporting your success, and celebrating the contributions you will make to our university community. Wishing you all the best for the semester ahead, and we look forward to connecting with you.
