Dr. Jian "James" Ma

Dr. Ma joined UCCS as an Assistant Professor in 2014. Over the past 12 years, he has held several academic leadership roles, including Chair of Educational Policy and University Standards (EPUS), Faculty Director of the Executive Doctor of Management Administration (EDBA) at the College of Business, and Faculty Director of the Bachelor of Innovation Program. He currently serves as the Chair of the Committee on Research. Within the professional community, Dr. Ma has been the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for the Association for Information Systems (AIS), Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Electronic Healthcare (IJEH), and Information Director for ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems (TMIS). In addition to his academic and professional contributions, Dr. Ma is deeply engaged in local community service. He is the President and Board Chair of the Denver Chinese School and serves as Vice President of the Chinese School Association in the US (CSAUS).
